2. Bend the actuating tab as required to make the float arm parallel to the base. Be careful not to
bend the float arm.

NOTE : Incorrect float adjustment can prevent proper tuning of a carburetor. Always
make sure the float is properly adjusted before attempting adjustment of the other fuel
metering system.
