Installing an SSD into an SSD carrier

Prerequisites

Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
NOTE: You must remove the SSD from the SSD carrier to replace a faulty SSD from an SSD carrier.
1 Followthesafetyguidelineslistedinthe Safetyinstructions section.
2 Remove the SSD carrier out of the sled.
3 RemovetheSSDfromtheSSDcarrier.
Steps
Insert the SSD into the SSD carrier with the connector end of the SSD toward the back of the carrier. When the SSD is aligned
correctly, the back of the SSD is flush with the back of the SSD carrier.
