NOTE: This is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU). Removal and installation procedures should beperformed only by Dell certified
service technicians.
NOTE: You must remove the system board to replace a faulty system board.
1 Followthesafetyguidelineslistedinthe Safetyinstructions section.
2 FollowtheprocedurelistedintheBefore workinginside yoursystemsection.
3 Remove the system board.
4 Unpack the new system board assembly.
5 Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver, the 4 mm and 5 mm Hex nut drivers ready.
