Initial Configuration
10 Enter information about the new NAS share you are creating:
• Name - Enter the name of the NAS share. The share will appear as this name on
the Windows network.
• Description - (Optional) Enter a brief description of the share.
• Enable data deduplication - Make sure the check box is selected to enable data
deduplication. (Data deduplication is enabled by default.)
• Hide from network browsing - Do not select this check box. If selected, you
cannot see the share when browsing the network.
11 Click Add.
12 Click Next to continue.
The Confirm page displays (see Figure 24).
