Changing the rotation speed
Rotating the Labware MiniHub to a specific position
Labware MiniHub Quick Guide
You can select the speed at which the Labware MiniHub turns while you are
making adjustments in MiniHub Resource Diagnostics. For example, you can
select the Slow speed when you are setting up or troubleshooting the hub.
Note: To set the rotation speed for protocol runs, use the Speed selection in
the Configuring Labware MiniHub dialog box. See the Encore Multispan System
knowledge base at www.agilent.com/chem/askb.
To select the diagnostic rotation speed:
In the MiniHub Resource Diagnostics dialog box, select one of the following speeds
from the Speed list:
Speed selection
Slow
Medium
Fast
You can rotate the Labware MiniHub such that:
•
A specific cassette faces the robot.
•
Cassette 1 is a specified number of degrees from the home position.
•
The Labware MiniHub is a specified increment clockwise or
counterclockwise from its current position.
Before you start
CAUTION
Obstructing the MiniHub while it is rotating will cause an error.
Move the Encore Multispan robot away from the Labware MiniHub.
Using MiniHub Diagnostics in the Encore Multispan software
Description
Rotates the MiniHub at 25% of the factory- set
maximum speed.
Rotates the MiniHub at 50% of the factory- set
maximum speed.
Rotates the MiniHub at 100% of the factory- set
maximum speed.
