Some effects of
the sample
The electrode is
dry or dirty.
The electrode is
cracked or worn
out.
There is a
problem with the
reference
solution.
Cause
The key-lock
function is ON.
The system is
locked.
The electrode
connector is not
attached
correctly.
The electrode is
defective. (the
responsive
membrane is
cracked.)
pH meter is
defective.
How to solve problem
Response time may slow down,
depending on the properties of the
sample solution.
Wash the responsive membrane.
Replace the electrode.
Fill the electrode with new reference
solution, as noted in the electrode
instruction manual.
How to solve problem
Turn the power OFF, and then turn it
back ON again.
Turn the power OFF, and then turn it
back ON again.
Attach the electrode connector
correctly.
Replace the electrode.
