4.1.5 Thick paper jam due to multi-feed
(1) Symptom
・Multi-feed jam may occur on thick paper (257gsm or heavier) .

* When the paper inside the tray forms convex toward the bottom of the tray, curl tends to occur.
(2) Cause
・The lead air lifts up the 2
Feed direction
(3) Solution
・ Fit the attachment (A92WA97A) for the thick paper.

Note:
When the thick paper attachment is fitted, following jam may occur.
JAM code: J-1618/1620/1622.
In that case, remove the thick paper attachment then take the countermeasure mentioned
in the
"Pickup jam clearance workflow"
