Since Softstarters PSE18 ... PSE370 has control in two phases, the connection
must be done In Line only, in accordance with the circuit diagrams in figure 5.2
and in Chapter 11.
Caution!
Softstarters PSE18...PSE370 must not be connected Inside Delta since this
will cause damage to the equipment and there is a risk of death or serious
injury. Figure 5.2.
5.2.2 Before connecting softstarters PSE18...PSE170
Warning!
Before connecting the Softstarters PSE size 18...PSE170 to operational sup-
ply voltage for the first time, the control supply voltage must be turned on to
ensure that the by-pass relays are in the open position. This is necessary to
avoid unintentional starting of the equipment during the connection.
