I•Mark SX-32e Technical Manual Version: 8 Issue: 1
Enter mark length setting - For all print heads
This parameter only appears if multiple mark is set for continuous or multiple
printing (zero or more than 1).
Description
For setting the distance from the start of one printout to the start of the
next during continuous or multiple printing.
This setting gives printouts at regular intervals.
Although the message length does not normally change during a
multiple mark, differing lengths have been used in these illustrations
so that the mark gap and mark length functions can be compared.
Comments
• This function can also be used to stop printing at the end of the print
target when the terminate print function cannot be used.
• When mark length is set to equal the length of the print target, printing
will stop when the trailing edge of the print target passes the print
head.
• The printout will be clipped (truncated) if mark length is set to a
distance which is shorter than the length of the message.
Printout stops when the mark length distance has been reached in
this case clipping the printout.
• Set to 0 (zero) to switch mark length off.
