If the pulses per shaft revolution value is given in the wrong units system (metric or
imperial), change the SX-32e to reflect the encoder's units (see "National Settings" on
page 21) and then enter the encoder factor setting. Then, when you change the SX-32e
back to the original units setting, the encoder factor setting will be converted.
Select print height setting - For all print heads
Description
For reducing the total print height.
Comments
The print height is reduced by selecting one of the height settings and
then tilting the print head to the angle shown next to the selected. Zero
(0) degrees is un-tilted. The print head is always tilted against the print
target direction as shown with the arrow below.

Enter spacing setting - For all print heads
Description
For setting the printout column spacing when print height is set to
100%.
Comments
• This setting can be easily adjusted by the user under Printout settings
on the main screen.
• Setting spacing too low in relation to dot size may affect printout. See
"General Printout Problems" on page 45.
Select width setting - For all print heads
Description
For setting the printout column spacing when print height is set to less
than 100%.
Comments
• A high setting gives a greater distance between printout columns.
• This setting can be easily adjusted by the user under Printout settings
on the main screen.
