Always switch the control unit off before connecting or disconnecting cables
The SX-32e has a print relay function, which can be utilised to signal when the print
head is active. The signal is available through the 15 pin I/O encoder port, as shown
below. Pin 14 provides a normally closed signal, whilst pin 13 provides a normally
open signal, to the relay's common ground, pin 12. Refer to "Print Relay Signal" on
page 33 for installation settings.
For further information regarding this functionality, contact your authorized
Matthews distributor.
Note that the standard Matthews warranty is void if any other than Matthews
approved equipment and cables are connected to this control unit.
