1–14 ports are RS 422 bi-directional channels.
15 and 16 ports are RS 422 bi-directional
channels by default and may be configured by
jumpers X16 and X17 accordingly as follows:
Output channels transmit RS 232 signal;
Input channels receive RS 422 signal
Limitations:
• In case if all 16 RS ports will be loaded
by bi-directional data transferring with baud rate
between 1200 and 38400 then no more than
25 Transas Workstations could work with same
DCU;
• Baud rate 57600 – then no more than
15 Transas Workstations could work with same
DCU;
• Baud rate 115200 – then no more than
10 Transas Workstations could work with same
DCU
