SAFETY BELT

The safety belt should not be twisted when
passing through the body.
Warning:
You may be seriously injured if thesafety
belt is twisted, since the twisted belt
cannot bear your impact in the whole
width during vehicle collision.
If so, smoothen the safety belt to make
it work correctly. If the safety belt cannot
be smoothened, contact either Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorised
representatives.

Do not fully incline the seat backrest
during driving.
Warning:
It is dangerous for you to lean against
the inclined seat backrest during driving,
because the safety belt, even fastened
to keep the body, will fail to function if
you lie obliquely.
The shoulder belt cannot function as well
since it does not fit against your upper
body but the front part. If the collision
happened, your body will slide into the
safety belt, making your neck hinged or
causing other injuries.
Therefore, you may be seriously injured
or even killed.
The lap belt does not function at all in
this case. If the collision happened, the
lap belt may slide over your belly and
exert force on the belly instead of pelvis,
causing serious internal injury.
The seat backrest must be vertical
during driving to functi o n for protection.
The whole back should lean against the
backrest and the safety belt should be
fastened correctly.
