Coolant expansion tank
The level of the coolant should be
checked when the engine is cold. The
coolant level should always be between
the minimum (MIN) and the maximum
(MAX) markings. The
antifreeze in the coolant should proper
enough to remain the coolant in fluid
form at low temperature. The coolant
should have corrosion resistance and
high-temperature stability.
In order to maintain
performance, the coolant should be
replaced every two years in chilly
weather.
The coolant should be changed either
at Dongfeng Franchise Store or IKCO
authorised representatives.

Power steering fluid reservoir*
Check the fluid level when the engine is
stopped.
The fluid level in the reservoir should
be between the minimum (MIN) and the
content of maximum (MAX) markings.
Running without fluid is prohibited in any
cases to avoid damage to the power
steering pump.

Note:
The coolant with superior antifreeze properties
should be selected for application at -30ºC.
Brake fluid reservoir
The brake fluid level should be checked
regularly, and should be between the
DANGER and the maximum (MAX)
markings, close to the maximum marking
as far as possible.
If the brake fluid level warning lamp
turns on when driving, park the vehicle
for inspection and seek help either from
Dongfeng Franchise Store or IKCO
authorised representatives.
In order to maintain a good braking
performance, the brake fluid should be
replaced every two years.
Note:
If the brake fluid level is lowered down obviously
in a short time, the brake system may have
leakage. Have it repaired at Dongfeng Franchise
Store or IKCO authorized representatives
immediately.
