Elevation (on the ground) of the unit relative to the average sea level
point.
Atmospheric pressure varies with height above sea level as well as with
atmospheric conditions. As the altitude at which the pressure sensor
operates is usually constant (the station height), a correction is made to
make the reading of the pressure sensor seem as if it were made at sea
level. This means that the pressure reading has to be slightly increased
from the value read by the MaxiMet sensor situated above sea level
(often known as the station pressure).
