Creating a logging file
1. Select File > Log.
2. Select Save in destination, e.g. Desktop.
3. Add the name for the log file in File Name, e.g. teraterm.
4. Tick options as required e.g. Timestamp.
5. Click on Save.
6. The following dialog box will open on the PC desktop.
7. To stop logging, click on the Close button.
Understanding Logged Data
Logged data is stored to a file with a .log extension. This can be viewed in any text/HTML editor or
spreadsheet application.
