TWIA -
Twilight Astronomic al
Begins in the morning, or ends in the evening, when the geometric centre of the Sun is 18 degrees below
the horizon.
Beginning of Morning Twilight (Astronomical): Defined as the instant in the morning, when the centre of
the Sun is at a depression angle of eighteen degrees (18°) below an ideal horizon. At this time the
illumination due to scattered light from the Sun is less than that from starlight and other natural light
sources in the sky.
End of Evening Twilight (Astronomical): Defined as the instant in the evening, when the centre of the Sun
is at a depression angle of eighteen degrees (18°) below an ideal horizon. At this time the illumination due
to scattered light from the Sun is less than that from starlight and other natural light sources in the sky.

X Tilt
XTILT -
X-Tilt shall be displayed in degrees with 2 signed integral digits over the range ±89 degrees.
With respect to the MaxiMet north marker:
+XX shall indicate that the unit is tipping towards east.
-XX shall indicate that the unit is tipping towards west.

Y Tilt
YTILT -
Y-Tilt shall be displayed in degrees with 2 signed integral digits over the range ±89 degrees.
+YY shall indicate that the unit is tipping towards north.
-YY shall indicate that the unit is tipping towards south.

Z Orient
ZORIENT -
Z-Orientation shall be displayed as +1 or -1.
+1 (normal upright position (+- 90 degrees)).
-1 (inverted position (+- 90 degrees)).
