Connecting to the Serial Port (For Macintosh)
You can connect the camera to a Macintosh using a serial cable for this
camera.
Important • Make sure that both the PC and the camera are turned off before

connecting or disconnecting the serial cable.
A Check that the PC and the camera are turned off.
B Open the terminal cover on the right
side of the camera.
C Insert the flat connector on one end
of the serial cable into the USB/AUX
terminal of the camera with the seal
facing up.
D Insert the connector on the other end
into the connector of the Macintosh
conversion cable.
E Insert the connector of the Macintosh
conversion cable into the serial
terminal (modem port or printer port)
of the PC.
Connection by serial cable is now completed.
