DISC BRAKE SYSTEM REAR

BRAKE PADS

Remove wheel assy rear along with the disc
l
plate (refer page no. 6-28 for wheel assy rear
removal procedure).
Take out the bracket complete along with the
l
caliper assembly and take out the caliper
cover.
Remove the plug pin from the caliper housing.

Flat head screw driver
Tightening torque
Remove the pin hanger. (Fig.6.106)
l
5 mm spanner
Tightening torque
Take out the pad complete inner and pad
l
complete outer. (Fig. 6.107)
Inspection of brake pads
Observe the wear limit line marked on the pad
l
and check the wear condition of brake pads.
(Fig. 6.108) When the wear exceeds the limit
line, replace the pad with new ones.
