Add additional screws to fasten the header back plate to the door frame approximately 12" to 16" apart.
Note: The header needs to be strong enough to support 200 lbs.

When installing a support plate for the full width of the door frame, fasten an additional two (2) screws to the vertical jambs on
the strike side of the door.

Install the spindle into the motor/gearbox.

Once the header back plate is installed, then install the motor/gearbox and control board to the header back plate (see Section
10 for more details). Slide the nuts (supplied with the opener) to hold the motor/gear box and control board along the 2 parallel
tracks on the back plate. Fasten the bolts to hold the motor/gear box and control board as shown in the diagram shown in step 7.
The motor/gearbox needs to be installed so that the center of the spindle is 5" (12.70 mm) from the end plate.
