Modular hot-plug power supply
There are two types of hot-plug-capable power supply modules, which are easy to distinguish on the
connection side (see following illustration). Both versions automatically adjust to the proper voltage
range.
A server may only be equipped with one type of power supply module. Mixed equipping

will cause the modules to be destroyed.

Connect each power supply module to a free electrical outlet of the multi-outlet assembly in the
rack (1 + 2) with the power cable provided (see technical manual for rack).
The yellow status indicator glows when line voltage is connected to the power supply module.
The green status indicator glows when the power supply module is ready for operation, or it remains
dark when the power supply module is defective.
