6.4.5 Range

INFORMATION
Information about the range of the power wheelchair can
be found in the chapter ‚TechnicalData'.
Note that the batteries reach their full capacity only after
20 – 30 charge cycles, and the power wheelchair can
achieve the stated range only then.
Please note that the specified range was determined un-
der defined conditions in accord ance with ISO 7176-4. In
practice the range can be reduced by up to 50 %.
The following factors influence the range of a power wheel-
chair:
  Battery capacity
  Age of the batteries
  Ambient temperature
ParaGolfer
Information
Creep speed
  Driving conditions (e.g. terrain profile, condition of sur-
face)
  Charging method
  Use of power options
  Body weight of user

6.4.6 Drive-away lock

INFORMATION
The drive-away lock can be activated as described in the
following, only if the "drive-away lock" parameter has
been set to "On". At the factory, the drive-away lock pa-
rameter is set to "Off". It is also possible that the factory
setting has been changed to "On" if requested with the or-
der or by the specialist dealer. Please ask your specialist
dealer about the setting selected for your wheelchair.
The control unit of the ParaGolfer sports wheelchair fea-
tures an electric drive-away lock to disable the driving func-
tion.
Activation
1. With the control unit turned on, press and hold the
mode button for at least 5 seconds.
