The NIC team will now show in Windows as a new virtual adapter as shown in Figure 97 and Figure 98.

As far as the network configuration for the LAN, since 'Failsafe Team' is being utilized, there is no
special configuration that needs to be done on the S5000 switches. We can simply have one link
going to each S5000 switch with one port in 'active' mode and the other in 'standby' mode.
In our examples in sections A and B, we had tagged the LAN traffic on VLAN 5. We can easily tag the
NIC team with VLAN 5 by right clicking the VLAN name and entering the respective VLAN as shown
below.
