    I2C bus NOTE: After a thermal shutdown, the I2C bus could lock up occasionally. If a lock up occurs, you must manually power cycle the switch. Direct attach cables (DACs) CAUTION: When removing optics with DACs from the port, pull the release tab firmly and steadily. If you have difficulties pulling out the cable, gently push the optic into the port with one hand while pulling the release tab slightly upwards—towards the cable/module center—with the other hand.
