Problem
No adhesive

Possible Cause
Melter tank is empty
Melter motor is not switched on
Melter pump is not working
Application head has not yet
reached operating temperature
Application head cold or not yet
warm enough
Control air not connected
Nozzle clogged
Nozzle stem is stuck
Solenoid valves do not switch
Temperature not set
Power plug not connected
Fuses in melter defective
Heater cartridge(s) in
application head defective
Hot melt application head EP 30
Corrective Action
Fill
Switch on
Check
Wait until temperature has been
reached, check temperature
setting if necessary
Refer to Application head does
not heat
Connect
Clean nozzle
Replace control module
Refer to Solenoid valves do not
switch
Set on temperature controller
Connect
Disconnect unit from line
voltage, check fuses and
replace if necessary
Replace
