Make sure your I nt ernet browser does not block pop- up windows and has JavaScript s and Java
enabled.

• Try t o access t he Swit ch using anot her service, su ch as Telnet . I f you can access t he Swit ch,
check t he rem ot e m anagem ent set t ings t o find out why t he Swit ch does not respond t o HTTP .
I can see t he Login screen, but I cannot log in t o t he Swit ch.
1 Make sure you have ent ered t he user nam e and password correct ly. The default user nam e is
a dm in , and t he default password is 1 2 3 4 . These fields are case- sensit ive, so m ake sure [ Caps
Lock] is not on.
2 You m ay have exceeded t he m axim um num ber of concurrent Telnet sessions. Close ot her Telnet
session( s) or t ry connect ing again lat er.
Check t hat you have enabled logins for HTTP or Telnet . I f you have configured a secured client I P
address, your com put er 's I P address m ust m at ch it . Refer t o t he chapt er on access cont rol for
det ails.
3 Disconnect and re- connect t he cord t o t he Swit ch.
