30.2 Auth Method

Aut hent icat ion is t he process of det erm ining who a user is and validat ing access t o t he Swit ch. The
Swit ch can aut hent icat e users who t ry t o log in based on user account s configured on t he Swit ch
it self. The Swit ch can also use an ext ernal aut hent icat ion server t o aut hent icat e a large num ber of
users.

Use t his screen t o view t he Aut h M e t h od set t ings. Click Configu r a t ion > AAA > Au t h M e t h od t o
open t his screen.
