  • Page 8 K5 Drinking Water Station Operation Pre-Production Mode Starting with an empty product water reservoir (inside WOW tank bladder), feed water comes in through first tube port (blue collet) on the right. Water passes through pre-filter, then up through the cartridge center tube. The water is split into two paths at this point.
  • Page 9 K5 Drinking Water Station Production Mode Reject Feed water is split into permeate and reject by the RO membrane. Reject exits the membrane cartridge via the outer port and flows to an area under the reject flow control. Reject water flows upward through the flow control screen and orifice, through the drain path and reject exits the system manifold via the port with the red collet.
  • Page 10 K5 Drinking Water Station the outside of the WOW tank bladder pressurizing the outer chamber and forces permeate water through the postfilter and out to the faucet. The force of water delivered to the tap is directly proportional to the supply pressure, unlike air charge storage systems. A small amount of drive water is vented to drain through the reject flow control during delivery.
