3.3.21 Front Header Interface

To allow the integration of a SECOCQ7-mITX2.0 based system inside a box PC-like, there is a
connector on the Carrier Board that allows to remote signals for the Power Button (to be used to
put the system in a Soft Off State, or awake from it), for the Reset Button, and the signal for an
optional LED signalling activity on SATA Channel.
Please be aware that PWRBTN# signal and RSTBTN# signal are also managed directly on the
carrier board by the two pushbuttons M2 and M1 (respectively), so it is not mandatory to connect
them externally using CN29.
Connector CN 29 is an internal 9-pin standard male pin header, p 2.54 mm, 5+4 pin, h= 6mm.

According to Qseven
manufacturing and debugging purposes (MFG_NC0÷MFG_NC4).
These pins are carried out directly on connector CN2, which is an IDC connector, dual row, 14 pin,
p2.54 mm connector, type MATSUYAMA LN214 or equivalent.
Please notice that these signals are reserved to the manufacturer of the Qseven
it is not recommended to use them.

Please notice that on this connector are reported both JTAG signals and UART signals.
This has been done since, according to Qseven
both JTAG and Debug UART interfaces can be available. Since Debug UART comes out at TTL
electrical level from the module, while most common use of UARTs require that they are at RS-232
level, on the carrier board has been implemented a switching mechanism of MFG_NC1 and
MFG_NC2 signals, driven by jumpers JP8 and JP9.
