3.3.9 Factory Alternatives USB 2.0 / USB 3.0 Connectors

With Qseven
Specifications Rel.2.0, it has been introduced the possibility of having up to 2
USB3.0 ports on the golden finger connector, by sharing the Superspeed lanes of USB3.0 ports
with pre-existing USB2.0 ports 4÷7.
For this reason, it is given the possibility of ordering SECOCQ7-mITX2.0 carrier board in the
following configurations:
A) With one type A USB3.0 port or
B) With one additional type A USB2.0 port + 2 internal USB2.0 ports
C) With one USB 3.0 type B receptacle or
D) With one USB 2.0 type B receptacle + 2 internal USB2.0 ports
Configuration A is alternative to configuration B, configuration C is alternative to configuration D.
First option, is the standard USB3.0 port available on optional connector CN11, which is a type A
USB 3.0 receptacle, type Wurth Elektronik p/n 692 121 030100.

As described before, alternatively to connector CN11there can be one type A USB2.0 receptacle
on the front side (CN37) and an internal 9-pin standard male pin header (CN38), p 2.54 mm, 2x5
pin, h= 6mm.
