instead of HD Audio. In these cases, audio connectors CN6, CN7 and CN9 will not work.
However, it is given the possibility to connect an external Audio Codec using an internal 16pin
p2.54 mm pin header, with following pinout.

Signals I2S_xxx comes from Golden finger connector, pins 59/61/63/65/67. They are carried to this
connector passing through a two-way switch, which deviate audio signals to this connector instead
of HD Audio Codec. Switching is controlled using CODEC_SEL signal, which is a 3.3V signal,
pulled-down to GND through a 100KOhm resistor.
If you want to use the external I2C + I2S Audio interface available on connector CN8, please pull-
up externally pin 14 to +3.3V_S though a 1KOhm resistor
3.3.8 USB 2.0 + Gigabit Ethernet combo connector
On board, there is a combo connector, carrying out the signals of USB ports 2÷3, and Ethernet RJ-
45, 10/100/1000 Base-T, for the use of a Gigabit LAN
Connector is type Speedtech P25-152-P9W9 or equivalent, with integrated transformer, 100 Ohm
impedance.
Gigabit Ethernet connector CN6 provide access to the Gigabit Ethernet signals directly managed

by the Qseven
modules, according to the standard.
Please be aware that this connector allows use of both Gigabit and FastEthernet LAN. Type of
Ethernet connection depends totally on type of LAN connection implemented on Qseven
module used.

On the connectors there are also two LEDS.
Left LED is bicolour, Green/Orange, and shows 10/100 or 1000 connection. Right LED is Orange,
and shows ACTIVITY on the LAN.
