loading paper
To ensure that the printer will start
at the top of a page, check the
following:
The leading edge should be straight;
not torn, crooked, or curled.
The leading edge of the paper should
not extend beyond the tractors. This
allows the printer to set the top of form
accurately and automatically at the
leading edge of the paper.

Close the top cover of the printer.
After the paper is loaded and the top
cover is closed, the printer automatically
sets the top of form at the leading edge
of the paper.
ON LINE must be lit to begin printing. If
it is not, press the ON LINE key.
Repeat the paper loading procedure
whenever top of form must be reset (e.g.,
after clearing a paper jam, loading new
paper , etc.). For details on clearing paper
jams, refer to the "Clearing Paper Jams"
section.
If the printer runs out of paper during
printing, you do not need to turn power off
to replace paper . If power is maintained, the
printer will resume printing automatically
after the paper has been replaced.
