Security Settings

On the Wi-Fi / Security settings page, you can modify security settings of the WLAN.
By default, the WPA2-PSK network authentication type is specified for the WLAN. WPS PIN
from the barcode label is used as the network key.
The router supports the following authentication types:
Authentication type
Open
Shared
WPA-PSK
WPA2-PSK
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
mixed

Open authentication (with WEP encryption for wireless network
modes not supporting 802.11n devices).
Shared key authentication with
type is not available when on the Wi-Fi / Basic settings page, in
the
Wireless mode
devices is selected.
WPA-based authentication using a PSK.
WPA2-based authentication using a PSK.
A mixed type of authentication. When this value is selected, devices
using the WPA-PSK authentication type and devices using the
WPA2-PSK authentication type can connect to the WLAN of the
router.
