Palm XT
The Palm XT is a small form factor
antenna that replaces the handle of the
StructureScan Mini XT, available as an
additional purchase.
You will need the handle removal tool
(looks like a screwdriver) which was
included with your StructureScan Mini XT.

Make sure that the StructureScan Mini
XT is powered off and that the battery
has been removed.

Using the tool provided, loosen the
four screws attaching the handle to the
Mini XT and remove it.

Carefully place the base of the Palm
XT onto the area previously occupied by the handle. Make sure that the black cable faces away from
the screen. The pins at the base of the Palm XT are delicate. Be careful not to bend them when
placing and removing the accessory.

Using the tool provided, tighten the four screws and attach the base of the Palm XT to the
StructureScan Mini XT.

Power up the StructureScan Mini XT as normal and follow the steps in Section 8 to use the Palm XT.
