Front connection bars edgewise
Front connection bars edgewise can be installed to connect large busbars and cable lugs
outside the termination area of a 3VA molded case circuit breaker. The jumper lug of the
breaker is turned by 90° when front connection bars edgewise are fitted.
All front connection bars edgewise are supplied as standard with phase barriers to provide
insulation between individual phases (see chapter Insulating equipment (Page 191)).
A special terminal can be installed to provide an auxiliary conductor connection. For further
information, please refer to chapter Auxiliary conductor terminal (Page 199)).
The table below provides an overview of the minimum and maximum sizes of cables and
busbars which can be connected by front connection bars edgewise.
