Chapter 2 Preparations

1.10.1 Notes

The data in EXPRESSBUILDER is not copied in Internal Flash Memory.
Refer to Chapter 2 (5.3 Utilities Provided by EXPRESSBUILDER) on in "Maintenance Guide".

1.10.2 Installation

Install the Internal Flash Memory according to the following procedure:
1.
Remove the top cover according to Chapter 2 (1.3.1 Removal of top cover).
2.
Insert the projection of Internal Flash Memory into the groove on CPU blade chassis, and slowly
move Internal Flash Memory until the connector on Internal Flash Memory is aligned with Internal
Flash Memory connector on CPU blade.
3.
Mount Internal Flash Memory to the CPU blade and secure it with a single screw.
Important
Do not touch the terminals of the card with your bare hand. Fingerprints and
dust left on it causes the CPU blade to malfunction.
Insert Internal Flash Memory perpendicularly into the connector. Inserting
Internal Flash Memory with being inclined may damage connector pins and/or
connectors.
If you have trouble installing the Internal Flash Memory, remove the Internal
Flash Memory once and try again. If you apply excessive pressure on Internal
Flash Memory, the Internal Flash Memory might be damaged.
