CLI Reference

CLI Command Tables

This section lists a sampling of the commands, subcommands and arguments used in the SC-IP
command line interface. Commands are shown in their long syntax, but may be abbreviated at the
command line to their minimal unique number of characters. For each command group, observe any
access or operation requirements and exceptions.
Note
These command tables are subject to change as new features are added to the SC-IP.
For complete and up-to-date commands use the SC-IP's context-sensitive help by entering the
acter anywhere in a command string.

Command Overview

The following basic commands are available in all access modes: User mode, Supervisor mode and
Admin mode. Some commands are password-protected, as noted.

Clear Commands

Some clear commands require you to be in Admin or Supervisor mode.

clear arp-cache
clear intf-counters
clear login-stats
clear pvc-counters
clear reboot-counter

Connect to terminal interface or modem
connect
Turn off supervisor/admin commands.
disable
(Password-protected)
Turn on supervisor/admin commands.
enable
(Password-protected)

Send ping to remote device
ping
Show system parameters.
show
Store and or run commands in batch mode.
batch
Exit the SC-IP command line interface.
exit
Description
Clears ARP cache entries.
Clears counters on one or more interfaces.
Clears login account statistics.
(Must be in Suprv or Admin mode to execute this command.)
Clears pvc counters.
Clears the reboot counters.
