W ARNING!
The traction grade assigned to this tire is based on
straight-ahead braking traction tests,and does not
include acceleration, cornering, hydroplaning, or
peak traction characteristics.

Temperature Grades

The temperatur e grades ar e A (the highest),B,and C,
r epr esenting the tir e'sr esistance to the generation ofheat
and its ability to dissipate heat when tested under
contr olled conditions on a specified indoor laboratory
test wheel. Sustained high temperatur e can cause the
materialofthe tir e to degenerate and r educe tir e life,and
excessive temperatur e can lead to sudden tir e failur e.The
grade C corr esponds to a levelofperformance which all
passenger car tir es must meet under the FederalMotor
Vehicle Safety Standar d No.109.Grades B and A r epr e-
senthigher levels ofperformance on the laboratory tes
wheelthan the minimum r equir ed by law .
W ARNING!
The temperature grade forthis tire is established for
a tire that is properly inflated and not overloaded.
Excessive speed, underinflation, or excessive load-
ing,either separately or in combination,can cause
heatbuildup and possible tire failure.
