Selecting a Disc
Press DSC+ to select the next
disc in the changer.
Press DSC- to select the previ-
ous disc in the changer.
Ejecting Discs
Press and release EJECT
the disc that is currently playing.
To eject all loaded discs, press and
hold EJECT
.
Discs can be ejected with the radio
or the ignition on or off.
PLAYING MP3 OR WMA
FORMAT CDS
If you burn your own MP3 or WMA
disc on a personal computer:
• Make sure the MP3/WMA files
are recorded on a CD-R disc.
• Do not mix standard audio and
to eject
MP3/WMA files on one disc.
• Make sure playlists have one of
the following extensions:
- .mp3
- .wma
Files with other extensions may
not work.
• Files can be recorded at a
variety of fixed or variable bit
rates.
Song title, artist name and the
album name will be available
when the CD has been
recorded using ID3 tags
versions 1 and 2.
Section 1
• Create a folder structure that
makes it easy to find songs
while driving.
Organize songs by album,
using one folder for each
album.
Each folder or album should
contain 18 songs or less.
• When burning an MP3/WMA
disc using multiple sessions,
make sure to finalize the disc.
It is usually better to burn the
disc all at once.
