Brake and Clutch Fluid

Your vehicle has one reservoir for
both the brake and clutch fluid.
CAUTION
Do not let brake/clutch fluid
touch your skin or eyes. If you
do get it in your eyes or on your
skin, wash the affected area
thoroughly with soap and
water or hand cleaner.

CAUTION
Used brake/clutch fluid, and the
containers contaminated by the
fluid, should not be disposed of
with regular trash.
Make sure you dispose of mate-
rials in accordance with envi-
ronmental protection
regulations to help protect the
environment and your health.
Change the fluid according to the
maintenance schedule to prevent
hydraulic system corrosion.
Use only the recommended fluid.
See the "Recommended Fluids and
Lubricants" chart later in this
section to determine what kind of
fluid to use.
The level should be between the
MIN and MAX marks.
If the brake fluid level is low, the
brake system warning light will
come on.
