facing child restraints cannot
ride safely in passenger air bag-
equipped vehicles that do not
have rear seats.
If, however, you secure a
forward-facing child restraint in
the front passenger seat, be
sure to move the front passen-
ger seat as far back as it will go.

LEAVING YOUR VEHICLE
CAUTION
Avoid leaving your vehicle while
the engine is running.
Do not leave children in the
vehicle with the ignition key.
They could operate the power
windows or other controls and
could even make the vehicle
move. A child or others could
be injured or even killed.
CAUTION

It is very dangerous to leave
children inside the vehicle for
any extended period of time -
especially in hot weather. When
you leave the vehicle, take your
children with you.
