Seats and Restraints
CAUTION
It is dangerous to operate the
vehicle with damaged safety
belts or other parts.
Replace a damaged safety belt
immediately.
CAUTION
A crash can damage the
restraint systems in your
vehicle. A damaged restraint
system may not properly
protect the person using it,
resulting in serious injury or
even death in a crash.
Have the restraint systems
inspected after a collision.
Make any necessary
replacements as soon as
possible.

If safety belt replacement is
necessary, it is recommended
that the entire safety belt
assembly be replaced.

Lap/Shoulder Belt

The front seats and the rear
outboard seats of the vehicle are
equipped with lap/shoulder belts.
Note:
The center rear seating position
may have a safety belt that can
be detached. In order for the
safety belt to work, the belt
must be properly attached.
See "Removable Rear Center
Lap/Shoulder Belt" later in this
section for more information.
The lap/shoulder belt should be
worn properly, as described
below.
