Alarm Warning
If this theft deterrent system is
armed, the alarm will go off any
time a door, the trunk or liftgate,
or the hood is opened without
using the key or keyless entry
transmitter.
To turn off the alarm:
• Sedan
Press the lock/unlock button
on the remote keyless entry
transmitter or open either the
driver or front passenger door
with a key.
Press the trunk release
button on the keyless entry
transmitter.
• Hatchback
Press the lock or unlock button
on the remote keyless entry
transmitter or open either the
driver or front passenger door
with a key.
• Or wait 28 seconds and the
alarm will automatically stop.
The system will lock the doors
and reset the armed theft
deterrent system.
If the system does not operate as
described above, see your dealer
for service.

Disarming the System
To disarm the system upon your
return to the vehicle:
• Sedan
Press the lock/unlock button
on the remote keyless entry
transmitter or open either the
driver or front passenger door
with a key.
• Hatchback
Press the lock or unlock button
on the remote keyless entry
transmitter or open either the
driver or front passenger door
with a key.
