  • Page 2 Dash Disassembly 99-5600 Ford Econoline 1995-2008/Explorer 1995-2001/Ranger 1995-2011 Mazda B-Series Pickup 1995-2009 Mercury Mountaineer 1997-2001 1. Using Metra’s 86-5618 or AW-FDRT, pull the factory head unit from the dash and disconnect the wiring. (Figure A) 2. Position the radio housing with the radio opening at the TOP for the remainder of the installation.

Using Metra’s 86-5618 or AW-FDRT, pull the factory head unit from the dash and disconnect the wiring. (Figure A) 2.

    Kit Assembly 99-5600 DIN head unit provision 1. Cut and remove the shaft supports from the radio housing. (Figure A) 2. Slide the DIN cage into the housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. 3. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage until secure.
  • Page 5 Kit Assembly 99-5600 2-Shaft head unit provision 1. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the kit and secure with shaft nuts. (Figure A) 2. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS.

Deslice la reja DIN en la carcasa y sujétela doblando hacia abajo las pestañas de metal. 3. Deslice la unidad central de mercado secundario en la reja hasta que quede firme.

Ubique el arnés de cableado de fábrica en el tablero. Metra recomienda el uso de un adaptador adecuado de acoplamiento de Metra o de AXXESS.
