Unlocking a user account

There might be times when users forget the password that they use to access the
DS Storage Manager. Beyond the set number of allowable attempts with the wrong
password, the account is locked. To unlock a user's account, the administrator can
use the unlock user process. If the Administrator account is locked, the
Administrator must use the security recovery utility tool. You can also unlock a
user account with the chuser DS Command-Line Interface command. See DS CLI
documentation for more information.
You must have administrator-level privileges to unlock a user's account. If you do
not have administrator-level privileges, you cannot unlock a user account or use
the security recovery tool to unlock the Administrator account.
