7.1 Selecting the Correct Ear Tip

The clinician can choose from a range of ear tips. In general, flanged or mushroom shaped ear tips will be
used for most testing (Impedance, DPOAE, TEOAE and Automated ABR). Sometimes, an umbrella shaped
ear tip will be more appropriate for performing a quick impedance screening.
