6 The Setup Menu

When holding the Setup button, a menu pops up in which you can select one of the options by rotating the
wheel and releasing the Setup button. Tone settings, Auto settings, and Common settings - AUD are
available from here. These can be changed temporarily or permanently.
When saving settings permanently, they get stored for a user. When selecting Save user settings as... the
Tone, Auto and Common settings - AUD are saved for the specified user.

6.1 Common Settings - AUD

In Common settings - AUD you will find settings that apply to all audiometric tests.
Hold the Setup button and rotate the wheel in order to select Common settings - AUD. When rotating the
wheel, the following settings can be selected and changed.
Intensity steps. The default step size can be set to 1, 2 or 5 dB.

At the default level, when changing output, you can select which intensity the system must jump to
when changing ear side.

When Show maximum intensities is selected the audiogram will indicate the maximum
intensities available for testing. Note that pressing the extended range button activates the full
range.

At Default Symbols you select which symbols are used in the audiogram.

The tone standard setting can be accessed by holding the Shift button and rotating the wheel until
the tone standard is selected. The available options are ANSI and IEC.

Enable the setting 'Save IP measurement as AC' to save the insert phone thresholds as AC
