6.2 Tone Settings

Hold the Setup button and rotate the wheel in order to select Tone Settings. When rotating the wheel, the
following settings can be selected and changed.
A
In order to use dedicated symbols for aided and binaural measurements, be sure to select the
correct Measurement type here.
B
The initial default symbols can be set here. The options are Hearing Level (HL), Most Comfortable
Level (MCL), Uncomfortable Level (UCL) and Tinnitus.
Select Show right and left in a single audiogram to view all audiometric results in a single

graph.
D
Show banana overlay displays the speech banana in the audiogram.
E
At Magnify the head up display you select if the numerical information of the transducer selection
by default is shown large or normal.
F
Select Show European CPT-AMA to include the CPT-AMA above your audiograms.
G
Select Show PTA (Fletcher) index to include the pure tone average above your audiograms.
Make sure to select the frequencies that you wish to be used for the pure tone average calculation.
When the 'Show PTA (Flecher) index is enabled, it is possible to set the intended frequencies used
for the calculation of the PTA pressing the 'PTA Freq.' soft key.
