5.2 Auto Test: Hughson-Westlake

Hughson Westlake is an automatic pure tone test procedure. The threshold of hearing is defined as 2 out of
3 (or 3 out of 5) correct responses at threshold level in a 5dB increase and a 10dB decrease test procedure.
Function Key
Description
Toggles between showing and hiding the trace.
When activated, the patient can become familiarized with the testing
procedure.
When pressed, the currently selected frequency is tested only. The test starts
immediately when pressed.
Clears the curve of the selected ear (without losing data from the other tests).
Moves the frequency up.
Moves the frequency down.
Press the play button to start the test for all frequencies.
Pause the test.
Stop the test.
