Map/ GPS
⿠GPS is a function that receives signals from the GPS satellites and acquires information on the FOMA terminal's position.
⿠This GPS function cannot be used as a navigation device for airplanes, vehicles or people or as a device for conducting
high-accuracy surveying. If it is used for these purposes or even if it is used for other purposes, bear in mind that NTT
DOCOMO INC. will in no way be liable for any purely economic losses such as those caused because the opportunity to
check surveying information or to communicate, for instance, has been missed as a result of trouble in or malfunctioning
of the FOMA terminal or power outages or any other external factors (including the dissipation of the battery charge).
⿠GPS is run by the U.S. Department of Defense: As such, the GPS signals status may be subject to controls (involving a
deterioration of accuracy or cessation of signals, for instance) in response to dealing with national security issues of the
U.S. In addition, even when surveys have been conducted in the same location or environment, the signal status may
differ depending on the positions of the satellites so that the same results may not be obtained.
⿠GPS uses the signals from satellites so bear in mind that in the environments listed below it will be impossible or diffi cult
for the signals to be received and that, as a result, the error in the position information may be greater than 300 meters.

check the notifi cations given on the website and other information sources of your GPS service provider or DOCOMO. In
some cases, you may be charged for using these functions.
